Not my strong suit.
However, I’ve learned to make small resolutions. Example of a couple that work and another that almost works.
Never leave dirty dishes in the sink at night. It’s so easy for them to add up. I don’t even like to leave dishes to soak. Just get them washed and set in the dryer rack or better, put them in the dishwasher.
Make you bed each morning. Again, this is a quick one and mostly, my husband does it! We have a smallish space and often the bed serves as a work station, like when sewing and cutting out patterns, or spreading out printed matter for consideration.
These two little and fast chores make a big difference.
My latest is hanging up clothes before going to bed. My husband retires early and I stay up reading or writing my blog! So when I go to the bedroom, I quietly remove clothes and toss them on the bench at the foot of the bed. Now I try to wash up earlier than he sets in, hang up clothes, and put on a fuzzy robe. Then I’m set for bed.
It’s the little things.
